Am Wochenende wurde sie fertig, die Mütze aus 80 % Tinkerhaar und und 20 % Wolle. Sie sieht nicht nur kratzbürstig aus, sie ist es auch, aber sie ist sowas von warm.
Das Projekt hat sich über ein halbes Jahr hingezogen. Nachdem ich die zwei Tüten voll Haare bekommen habe war ich zunächst etwas ratlos. Die braunen Haare waren und sind noch ganz angenehm, die weißen allerdings - puuuh - richtig kratzige Borsten und ein direktes Verspinnen war nicht möglich. Es kam kein Faden zustande, es bröselte immer wieder alles auf. Also alles erst einmal beiseite geschoben und gebrütet.
Ich habe dann gemixt, jeweils 80% Tinkerhaar und 20 % Schafwolle. Das Ganze schien mir trotz alledem etwas unstabil, so dass ich mich nicht traute, die Wolle zu Strängen zu wickeln und zu waschen. Ich bin das Wagnis eingegangen und habe direkt von der Spule gestrickt. Der Pferdehalter wünschte sich eine Mütze, und hier ist sie nun.
